Artist Statement

Hand-carved detail inspired by the Australian rugged coastline and local flora, delicately crafted.

This statement necklace features a beautiful Australian sapphire, surrounded by softly sculpted details: pave set with diamonds. 

The sapphire, rich in colour evokes the blue of the ocean or the soft greens of the native flora. The hand-carved 'rock' represents the rugged Australian coastline. The diamond accents evoke the shimmer and sparkle of light as it reflects off the surface of the ocean. 

The Duke of York is the ocean in a necklace, eternalised into a precious keepsake in gold."
