Artists Statement:

In many cultures, the pear is a symbol of affection and Dogman has affection in abundance! He wants to find a way to express these feelings to his true love. Learning about the symbol of the pear, Dogman plants his seed. Nurturing it, he watches it grow until finally it bears fruit. He is so excited and can’t wait to share it with his love. After all this time of care and devotion, he knows that his affection for his true love will stay strong and continue to bear fruit just like his tree.
