Artists Statement:

Dogman sits in his meditative way contemplating life with the pear in his hand. "How lucky I am to have this pear!” he thinks. Across different cultures, the pear represents fertility, wisdom, and health. And with the pear in his hand, he feels the ancient power rushing through him like a river. When he first saw the pear, he wondered whether he should wait to see if something better came along. But now that he has its ancient power, he wouldn’t swap it for the world. A pear in the hand is worth at least two in the bush.
