Artists Statement:
Rabbitwoman sits in her meditative way contemplating life with the pear in her hand. ‘How lucky I am to have this pear!' she thinks. Across different cultures, the pear represents fertility, wisdom, and health. And with the pear in her hand, she feels the ancient power rushing through her like a river. When she first saw the pear, she wondered whether she should wait to see if something better came along. But now that she has its ancient power, she wouldn’t swap it for the world. A pear in the hand is worth at least two in the bush.
