Artists Statement:

Across different cultures, the pear represents fertility, wisdom, and health. Struggling to leave the threat of extinction behind, the elephant is still being hunted mercilessly by poachers for its priceless tusks. But now that this elephant has found the ancient power of the pear, it will be able to move back into the world with added strength and virility, bringing hope and love for the entire species.
