Iconic Tasmanian Artist Peter Barraclough Leaves Behind a Remarkable Legacy

Yesterday we were told the sad news of the passing on the 1st of September of the legendary Tasmanian artist Peter Barraclough.
We've been so fortunate to have known Peter for the last 20 years during our gallery lives in the Salamanca Arts Centre and have been privileged to have worked representing him through the last few.
Peter was not only an accomplished, inspirational yet humble artist and teacher but a genuinely lovely person and friend.
A little piece of Salamanca has been lost but the sunsets will be far more colourful with his spirit amongst them.
