We're excited and feel so fortunate to be exhibiting the captivating mixed-media art of Martha Lord.

“Art isn’t simply about a painting or sculpture. The environment in which we live in, where we work should be about art. Our mark making can represent the deepest levels of the human psyche. It is not only an expression of something that is very personal and intimate but an intellectual and emotional exploration.”

Martha Lord is a Melbourne based artist and designer who has exhibited both nationally and internationally. Her work is a play between abstraction and realism. Connections with mythology and architecture are becoming more prominent in her work. "My work sits somewhere between reality and the idea".

Martha has been involved in over thirty group shows and eight solo shows over the last two decades. She has exhibited locally and nationally with works at the Cromwell's Art Prize Collection and private collections in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Athens, California and New York.
